Materials
- Eponine Fruity Blue Ivy Tea
- boiled water
- Cold water
- ice cubes
- Lemon Juice or Lime Juice
How is it prepared
- Brewing Iced Tea: Put Blue Ivy tea leaves in a tea strainer and place in a heatproof glass measuring cup. Again, if you don't have a tea strainer, you can brew the blue tea leaves in water and then strain the blue tea flowers using a fine sieve.
- Pour 1/2 cup of boiling water over the tea in the measuring cup. Cover with a plate and let it brew for 5-10 minutes.
- Adding Cold Water and Ice: Remove the tea strainer from the hot tea in the glass.
- Pour 1/2 cup of cold water over some ice into a glass. Using half cold water instead of full boiling water will help cool the drink and help the ice melt less. Put the hot tea in a glass with ice and water.
- You can enjoy it as is or add lemon juice, lime juice or sweetener!
- You can also try herbs like mint, basil or lavender to add extra flavor.
