- Hot water
- La Diplomatie Vanilla Matcha
- Milk, Almond milk, soy milk or oat milk
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup or sweetener, if desired
How is it prepared
- Whether you're making hot or iced vanilla matcha, you'll start with a shot of matcha first. To do this, you will whisk 1/2 teaspoon of matcha powder with 2 tablespoons of hot water.
- I use a bamboo whisk for easy mixing, but you can also put the matcha and hot water in a jar, cover and shake until well mixed. Doing this first will make the matcha softer.
- Put the vanilla Matcha shot, milk, and maple syrup in a blender and puree until very creamy. Enjoy as is or serve over ice cubes For a less watered-down latte, serve them over milk ice cubes.
- To make these, pour the milk into an ice cube tray and freeze until firm. It's very creamy, slightly sweet, and a great alternative to iced coffee.
